APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR:

 

Anticipated full-time openings for all grade levels:

 Special Support Paraprofessional(s)

6.5 hours/day, student days, plus additional days, as required

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; 2+ years college degree, desired
• Completion of 2+ years of postsecondary study (minimum of 48 credits of postsecondary education); or, possess an associate degree or higher (in any subject), as evidenced by transcripts, preferred
  • Highly Qualified training will be provided for applicants having less than 2 years college experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills
• Experience working with special needs students, desired

Requirements:

• Duties will require regular contact with bodily fluids &/or toileting
• Training and support in the areas of assistive technology, eating, communication, sensory integration, and academics
• Assist student with functional mobility
• Experience with academic and behavioral data collection

 

Hourly Rate:  $21.06

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
